Christmas 2011

For Christmas this year we had a fun and relaxing Christmas at home. 

So here comes some picture overload of our Christmas...

By the way do you see that huge red bag sitting beside them? They each got one of those full of presents from my parents for Christmas. I am pretty sure that I did not need to buy them any presents at all from us because they already had present overload after my mom was finished with them.

We then went home that night and got ready for Santa to come.

Of course we had to set out the traditional plate of cookies and milk.

And here they are Christmas morning ripping everything open!!

The rest of the day we hung out, ate delicious turkey dinner and played with all the new fun things we got. It was a great Christmas! And it only took two days and two large garbage bags to make room for all the new stuff in the house that showed up!

Paytin's Kindergarten Christmas Concert

On December 22, 2011 Paytin had her Christmas concert at school. Her class booked our church building to hold the concert in so that everyones parents and grandparents could attend. Paytin was so excited, she not only had a speaking part she had to memorize but a solo as well, and she did awesome with both!

while the other children sang the lower melody. I was so proud of her!

Afterwards everyone stayed to mingle and ate yummy treats. It was a fun night and I can't wait for the concert next year.

Major Updating.... and a lost tooth

Well considering it has been several months since I have actually updated the blog, I figure it is probably time to do so! So here goes...

On November 16, while supposedly going to sleep Paytin lost her first tooth!

I guess she felt it come out and sat up quickly which must have flung the tooth away because we were never able to find it. She was quite upset about this, so we had to write the tooth fairy a letter explaining what happened, and of course the tooth fairy understood and left her $5 in return!
